Mekani by Huikoo

The renovated Mekani lunch restaurant and restaurant for private events is located in Konepajanranta in Pori. Mekani’s stunning setting is the Björneborgs Mekaniska Werkstad workshop, a building of cultural and historical value that was completed in 1871. The renovation has given the venue a new, modern look without compromising on the atmosphere of the old building.
The Pori factory environment is a fantastic place for celebrations. Whether your event is a company meeting, seminar, family celebration or birthday, Mekani offers a comfortable setting for it in Mekani’s restaurant, where you can also enjoy delicious lunches made with fresh and tasty ingredients.

The downstairs of Mekani has a stylish and spacious banquet hall that can easily be adapted for any party. The space can be used for weddings, company parties or formal occasions, for example. The banquet hall is also suitable for smaller groups by using different table settings. The downstairs hall can fit 200 people. The hall has table settings for about 120 people.

Mekani’s facilities in Pori’s unique factory environment are also suitable for meetings and training. The meeting room for 10–50 people in the upstairs loft is equipped with a video projector, screen, flip chart and sound system. The downstairs restaurant hall can also be booked for groups of 50–100 people. A successful meeting includes meeting coffees and lunch as well as refreshments served by HUIKOO Catering. These attractive and functional spaces make it easy to hold meetings and training sessions!

The Mekani roof terrace offers a wonderful view over the Kokemäenjoki river and its bridges. On the other side of the river, you can see the Central Pori Church, whose tower is closely linked to the history of Mekani. The terrace is also a great place to cool down or serve welcome drinks, for example. The terrace can fit up to 80 people at a time.
