If you’re looking for an unforgettable destination, look no further! Visitors of all ages will love this unique experience.
Coordinated by the municipality of Eura, Naurava Lohikäärme is the first information centre of prehistory in Finland. The changing exhibitions tell a fascinating tale of prehistory and, in particular, the Viking Age (800–1050 CE), in Eura.
The exhibitions feature original archeological finds as well as various replicas. Visitors may touch the exhibited replicas and textiles. You also get to weave fabric and try out other ancient techniques. Find out if you have the strength to become a Viking warrior! Lift a heavy shield and see if you could defend yourself with a sword against an enemy.
Naurava lohikäärme is located at the centre of Eura in an old stone cowshed designed by Jalmari Karhula. There is plenty of free parking around the building. The information centre is only a half a kilometre walk from the bus station of Eura. The building also houses lunch restaurant Idylli for lunch and coffee during lunchtime and catering on request.
