A picnic break by the campfire

What could be better than relaxing in the heart of nature around a campfire. Bring along some sausages and marshmallows – and let the flames warm you up!

The Yyteri Square barbecue area is easily accessible, located in the courtyard of the Yyteri Visitor Centre at the end of the Yyterinsantojentie road. For a seaside view, head to the Munakarinsäikkä campfire site. The campfire site is located at the southern end of Yyteri beach, opposite Munakari Island.

Firewood is usually available at the barbecue sites, but please let us know if there has been so much use that firewood has temporarily run out.

At nightfall

When darkness falls, Yyteri becomes an exotic experience! The sand dunes are wrapped in the soft embrace of twilight, and the starry sky and moonlight create an unforgettable atmosphere. The darkness brings the sounds of nature closer and gives space for relaxation – or an adventure by headlamp light. Experience Yyteri’s unique winter season and let the darkness make your experience unforgettable!
